Far Lodge Farm is a working dairy farm which has been in David's family for generations. David and Kath have had their barn converted into cottage style accommodation and offer you a warm and friendly stay.
Lodge View Cottages are situated in Quernmore, a small picturesque village in the Forest of Bowland, which is a recognised area of outstanding natural beauty.
The cottages are sheltered on the East by Clougha Pike which overlooks the village of Quernmore and stretches over to Abbeystead, the home of the Duke of Westminster. Close by is the stunning Lune Valley with it's interesting walks and views.

There are a number of small villages in the area making this a popular area for walking, cycling and other sporting holidays. There is a wide range of leisure and sport activities available locally, something for all of the family.

Both Blackpool and the beautiful Lake District can both easily be reached by a 40 minute drive. Both areas are well worth a visit while staying in the area.


 

 

The seaside resort of Morecambe is only 8 miles away where you can visit the statue of Eric Morecambe and other attractions in this recently regenerated popular resort.
